Number of recent posts on start page reduced?

I'm under the impression that the number of recent posts you get to see on the starting page of this forum is recently reduced to about 20. This used to be more, I think about 30 or 40. Or have I just taken the first step to senility?

Is this a personal setting? So yes, how can I extend it to the original number again. Otherwise, is there a possibility to restore the original number?
