Changing the Distance per tile settings

Hello.
I'm using the Experimental 11.12 version. I've been round and round the mulberry bush trying to find out how I change the km/tile setting (so I can adjust this to my favourite map). I've also opened every config file in the directory and cannot find any setting that even looks like it. So I haven't a clue how to do this. Can anyone let me know?

the option was apparently removed back in mid 2011  i was looking to do it as well for scheduling purposes but need to find another solution now :/
