Title: High level design goals

Discussion on these forums is often, for understandable reason, focussed on the detail of things, but I thought that it might be a useful thing to set out what I consider to be the high-level design goals of the project. By that, I do not mean specific intended features (those are set out in detail here (http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=8172.0)), but rather general propositions which will be true of the game if it achieves what I hope it to achieve. (Of course, the main purpose of the intended features listed is to conform to these design goals).

I hope that this will help to explain some of the design decisions that have been made and are in the process of being made. They are listed below in no particular order.

This list may be amended from time to time as more goals occur to me.
