Title: Map creation climate setting restrictions
Post by: AP on July 18, 2017, 03:26:53 PM
In trying to create a hilly map, I've found an oddity in the map creation dialogue box:

Climate zones are assigned as
with each assigned a terrain z value.

The oddity, is that water level can be set down to -20. Yet the climate zones can only be set down to -5.

So in creating a hilly map, with a low water level (so as to maximise those hills), as one might reasonably want to do when importing a ppm file, you end up with what should be your lush fertile lowlands, as beach instead.

Thank you for spotting that. I have now amended this in the code - can I ask you to check with the next nightly whether this is now fixed?
