Simutrans Chat Room

Simutrans Community has an IRC Channel.

irc://quakenet/Simutrans
Channel: #SIMUTRANS
IRC-Network: QUAKENET

It's a chat room. There, you can talk about anything on Simutrans. I'm there sometimes. ;)

Language sessions

All times are GMT/UTC:

German: Sunday 18:00 (6:00 PM) and Wednesday 19:00 (7:00 PM)
English: Saturday 21:00 (9:00 PM)
Spanish: Monday 19:30 (7:30 PM)

Direct via browser

You should be able to now reach Simutrans chat in your web browser by going here:

Simutrans' QuakeNet Webchat IRC

Just put a nickname and click on "Join chat".

For Mozilla Firefox users

If you have Mozilla Firefox, you can download and install the ChatZilla. Once installed, copy and paste the address in address bar of your browser, and Simutrans Chat Room will open.

You should be able to now reach Simutrans chat in your web browser by going here:
http://chat.simutrans.com/ - technical difficulties, see the link just below for now:

If that doesn't work, this should:
http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=simutrans

This will work in your browser to make a connection to the Quakenet IRC network using their in-browser script. (it connects to #simutrans, which is the official channel, in case you want to use a third-party program)

Although it may well be slow, we are starting to try and monitor the channel. In fact, as I type this, a new member happened to come into the channel, and *gasp* I'm helping them... :-)

So please feel free to come by and hang out, and let's see if this can become a more useful part of our community. :)
