OSX Install Help

I downloaded the newest build 102.2.2.  It has the pak folder installed and when I click on the executable it opens terminal and runs this:

And quits.  My folder structure looks like this: (See the attachment)

I would like some help getting this resolved.

Please, search a bit at the forum before posting a new thread. There're at least three references about the same issue with possible solutions:

So from what i'm reading on these forums is that there is no easy way to install Simutrans on Mac. I've given up, but I am new to Mac so i'm not surprised.

Has there been any thoughts from the development group to put some work into providing a mac-friendly installation package? It's a shame that so many Mac users are finding the installation of Simutrans so difficult - hopefully this type of solution could be prioritised to address this problem.

Imho, that's a matter of OSX not Simutrans. Only windows package contains the libraries, but again is a matter of the OS not Simutrans. Windows based applications always include the libraries they use, even if they're already installed. On the other hand, I haven't tried MacOSX, so I don't know how hard it is to install a library. Linux systems have a package manager that allows you install new stuff with just a few clicks.

Anyway, we encourage you to help the development team to create and test a mac-friendly installation package.

Actually, it is not very diffsiculot. Just download the SDL installer package from http://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-1.2.14.dmg and istall it.

Then dowload the simutrans executalble and a pakset from sourcceforgeand unpack them into the same folder. Now it should run.
