How do you level large pieces of land in multiplayer?

I read that you can hold down the mouse button to level land at the same height over large areas.

How do you do the same thing in multiplayer (level large areas to the same height)?  The former method does not seem to work.

It should be possible in multiplayer indeed, at least with the recent releases.

It doesn't work in 111.2.2 r5583 (what I have to use on this server: http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=6548.0)  Is this version too old?

Timothy, who runs the entropy servers, has yet to upgrade to the latest stable release, 111.3.1. Once he does so, you will be able to click and drag terrain tools like offline Simutrans. For now, you must individually click each tile.
