How to change the time speed in a saved game? I had tried change the bits_per_month in simuconf, but it doesn't work unless I start a new game. I don't want to recreate the map again :-[ (It is huge and I spent a lot of time in it,also would take me forever to build again), Pak128

I heard some one said "Save your game in .xms format (uncompressed)"and change something, but how to save a game in .xms format?
I will so thankful if anyone can explain my problem to a answer to me :)

Not sure this is what you are looking for or will help but you can change the speed by pressing "." to speed the game up and pressing "," to slow it down.  I tried unsuccessfully to find the original thread where someone posted this info for me when I had a similar question.

Bits_per_month can, I think, be edited in the advanced settings menu ("i" key in many paksets). You'll have to save and reload to see the difference. In general, changes in simuconf.tab will only affect new games and not existing saves.
