I love the new 112.1 and the new city stop naming scheme (using streets) is cool but I'm having parsing errors on new stop names.  For example:

"%¢1s Picnic Street %¢2s"
"%¢1s Winterbourne Street %¢2s"
"%¢1s Monk's Lane %¢2s"

Simutrans 112.1 r6212M, pak128 2.2.0 on Ubuntu Linux 12.10 64-bit.

Thank you!

Zeno

It's a pak128 2.2.0 bug, not a "game bug". There's a file ( text/streetlist_en.txt ) that generates new street names, and probably it's not working properly. Maybe deleting it reverts to old way of naming stops, but I'm not sure.

You may learn more about it here: http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=11136.msg108524#msg108524
or search "streetlist" in the forum.

Whoops, sorry, I didn't realize that.

Thank you.

Yes, the file is damaged, just delete it to get normal names.

Alternatively, you can replace in this file every %$1s with %s (ditto for 2). Yes, that's all there is to this bug :(

My projects... Tools for messing with Simutrans graphics. Graphic archive - templates and some other stuff for painters. Development logs for most recent information on what is going on. And of course pak128!
