I think you can still improve your graphics with smoother lines and using different light levels of player color. (see example in attached file)

That's better, anyway be careful with light levels : southern face is lighter. 2nd, 5th and 6th views aren't well lit. Diagonal views don't look consistent too : parts facing the player are lighter on vertical views than on horizontal ones.
