The left bus in the attached savegame has a schedule of 1 -> 2 -> 3-> 4 but visits the stops in the order 4 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1

Steps to reproduce bug:
- Select "Mirror Schedule"
- When the bus is on its way back, deselect "Mirror Schedule"

This is confusing, but not actually a bug.   (Though when I first encountered it, I nearly made a bug report too.)

Each vehicle has its own 'Reverse route' setting.  When 'Mirror schedule' is set for the line, the individual vehicle 'Reverse route' is automatically toggled each time the vehicle gets to one end of the route.  When 'Mirror schedule' is not set, each vehicle retains whatever 'Reverse route' setting it has unless and until it is changed manually; the primary use for this is circular lines, where you want some vehicles permanently going clockwise and some permanently going anticlockwise.  So if you turn off 'Mirror schedule' for a line that previously had it on, any vehicles currently on the return route will by default stay that way.

In short, to fix your bus, uncheck its 'Reverse route'.

Best wishes,
Matthew

Thank you for the information. I read the thread http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=9165.0, but I searched the button "Reverse Route" in the schedule window. I thought it might have been removed.

After searching again I also found this thread about the topic: http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=8962.0

Now it's clear. However I don't see a way to make it less confusing without losing functionality.

Yes - M. Collett is correct. Some Experimental features are somewhat sophisticated, and cannot help but be somewhat complicated as a result of that. Those who enjoy Experimental tend to think that the learning curve is worth it!
