Czech P192C add-ons
« on: March 27, 2015, 09:02:23 PM »
Some time passed from while when flemmbrav prepared Czech electric locomotives of class 163 (that is similar to locomotive that was operating also in Germany) - and now, when I see that pakset is slowly extended of locomotives and trains from Britain and Indonesia, I think that time for next Czech vehicles came ... again.

I would like to see these trains:

.. and of course, I would (almost) forget to train for DB that is constructed in Škoda Plzeň. But I don't know anything about it - excepting few that is written on pages of producer.

Wow realy nice. I feel that the time to try pak.comic has come...

Btw red livery was used mostly on AC locos, while DC licos were green. Dual system locos were blue.

Czech wikipedia page has also numbers of built engines. That may help in decision what to build. I'll send the link later.

beer cars not needed - at least for me

I targeted my question on locomotives and passenger cars - not freight cars. I did not know about presence of beer cars on any photo of requested vehicles.

I think it would be better if the green part was player color, maybe even use second player color for the yellow parts.

If special color is player color, then definitely use it so that the green/red/blue parts are player color. There were a few engine classes which from outside differed only in color and from inside differed in engine AC/DC. The one you painted last is one of those.

Btw I plan a summer trip through southern germany, so if you want we can meet somewhere and I'll bring some beer. Perhaps not full crate... P.M. me if interested.

NEXT: ... or ČD 471
ČD 471 - this double-decker electric passenger unit may be found also in service of some other transporters - and in many various colour schemes (for example, ČD uses at least three or four colour schemes).

If I may recommend one source of information: http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seznam_%C4%8Desk%C3%BDch_a_slovensk%C3%BDch_lokomotiv
It is in czech, but in tabular form so that many important tech specs are easy to find, and it has also info which were the most common - (green), and which were prototypes (red).
You can see that for the nice E458, there was an AC powered twin class S458. There's a lot you can read from these numbers:
E ... DC power, S ... AC power, 4 ... 4-powered axles, 5 ... (5+3)*10 = 80 km/h, 8 ... 8+10 = 18 tons/axle

class 749 http://www.zelpage.cz/fotogalerie/motorove-lokomotivy/749/
class 750 http://www.zelpage.cz/fotogalerie/motorove-lokomotivy/750/
class 759 http://www.zelpage.cz/fotogalerie/motorove-lokomotivy/759/

Quote
someday i'll also do some passanger cars.
Well, well ...

Some ones are from production of factory in Görlitz (and they are in service from age of Eastern Germany). So, partly you will create passenger cars also for main package.

Class 230 is a very interesting locomotive - because it was the first (in the world) one with laminate case.
