Topic: Australian citylist - exhaustive

Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this as I haven't contributed anything before.

I've been playing with the Australian city list, but I play on big maps and the ~100 city list for Australia seemed way too small to me. So I have been using a list based on another data set I had laying around - 12,825 Australian town and city names. 130KB unzipped.

If this isn't the type of thing you want committed to the main line, I figured I'd at least share it here so others who want an exhaustive Australian city list can just use it!

Let me know if I should post this elsewhere.

Since you ask, there is a subforum for citylists in the general resources, you can find it here: http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?board=110.0 - it's quite nested, that's why you probably did not see it.

Though there is no need to post this list again, I'm sure one of the pak128 mods will move it there shortly.
