Cannot load game: FATAL Error: planquadrat_t::rdwr()

Hi all,

I'm getting slightly panic - I cannot load my favorite save game because of following error message:

FATAL ERROR: planquadrat_t::rwdwr() - Error while loading game: Unknown ground type '84'

I have not change anything with the pakset or addon. Could you please help?

If you saved the game with an older version of Simutrans, can that version still load the game? If not, it looks a lot like the save game has become corrupted.

I will have a look tonight. Unless it is one specific error, the olf stable had, your chances of recovery are not too high. Please be patient.

The wrong byte comes out of the blue. I fear this is not really recoverable. Also some of your addons are somewhat broken, so that the Xref reader cannot free them any more. Everything after tile (1020,2550) is not recoverable, I am afraid.

Multiple corrupted files sounds alarmingly like a hardware problem. (Although a driver bug could cause the same symptoms.)
