Loading save game: FATAL ERROR: planquadrat_t::rdwr()

Hi, following error message while loading a save game:

(new_york scenario, version 124.3.1).
What can i do to solve? or to give traces for root cause?

100% reproducable.

OK, I can finally reproduce the error from a non-broken save/map:

• Load a save with a non-default number of cities
• Open the settings window using Shift+4
• Press the "default.sve" button to load the settings from this save
• Close the settings window, save, then try to reload

Hm, yes I did this accidentally... Thx for testing in details!

And I don't know what changed with clicking default.sve settings, I toggle between both available buttons.

Thanks for the report, this should be fixed in r1172.

I have managed to fix your save file (at least it now loads, there might still be other non-fatal errors):
