ehicles do not earn money when delivering merchandise

I finished building the city and started creating factories to start earning money before bankruptcy
but
No vehicles are gaining money, both trains, trucks and buses
the only thing that delivers money is electricity and nothing else
and I'm plummeting very quickly to stop the game before I go to hell quickly
Does anyone know what is going on??

If you 'created' the factories, did you connect them? If you check out eg. a coal mine, does it list the coal power plant as a consumer? Energy does not need 'contracts', everything else needs to define where the goods come from amd where they go.
