Hiding of catenaries

I don't know exact (and current) situation in various paksets, but some catenaries may collide with signals (and hide them, at least in some directions).

So, it would be good to temporarily hide catenaries (and mark their presence by any way - until they will be made visible again).

The b or ^b command shows the state of signals as arrows, so one can quickly see where there are signals.

Well, thanks. I tested it but ...

problem is that this command ignores (does not show) signals type. And if signal else than basic (it means for example long or choose platform or so) is selected for building, pressing command switches to basic signal.

So, still it would be good to have also option to hide catenaries.

You could still click on it to see what kind of signal it is. Or one could add an icon to the reservation view which is probably a better idea as it works also zoomed out.

Hiding catenaries opens another can of worms because with the same reasoning, you could ask for hiding stations, bridges ... I think it is a deliberate choice (albeit not a good one) of the pakset if those cannot be seen.

I am not sure if this is possible.

If, in the reservation display (b or ^b), signals were simply rendered as the foremost graphic thereby overwriting everything else then they would be visible.

Interesting suggestion, maybe even render it in larger size in case of zoomed out.
