But isn't it a bad idea to have two wikis within the same community and same (intended) information?

IgorEliezer

Rojo, this topic is here for it. My idea is porting English pages from German Wiki to English Wiki (see 1st post). Until now, I've edited EN Wiki main page with links:

http://en.wiki.simutrans.com/index.php/Main_Page

Fine then, as soon as I'm able to contact Iz for all the data regarding my e-mail, I can start with some bits. (or somehow find my wiki password in one of my old simutrans-related paper documentation) (or change my password retrieval e-mail)

IgorEliezer

IIRC, whoami is EN Wiki maintainer. I don't know if you have tried to contact him.

No, it's me. :) Rojo, haven't you received my PM yet?

Raven

Ah, the thing of contacting Isaac was to get my mail's account back.

Yeah, i just got an account made and i feel that we should do something about all of those dead links on the wiki.
Those pages aren't detailed but they give you a brief overview.

IgorEliezer

I have to thank for latest contributions on the Wiki.

Well, what I have to say more? Wiki is running again.

A few days ago i made a guide on building airports but i'm still trying to figure out how to get picutres in and make it look nice.

Maybe it helps for reference: http://archive.forum.simutrans.com/topic/07273.0/index.html

Also, you can download the Starter Guide, it's an e-book with tutorials of Simutrans: http://docs.simutrans.com/

When you make a Link to the nightly-Server from an english Page, it will be good to show the englishe Page

At example on the Pak Page:
http://en.wiki.simutrans.com/index.php/Paks

The Link to the nightly-Paks must be:
http://simutrans-germany.com/~nightly/simutrans/index.php?lang=en#_NPaks

I hope you understand my English

I was going to suggest the same. In fact, I was going to move some of them to ES wiki, too. I still have to translate one more from the Creating an addon series and a couple of tutorials about Tilecutter and PakHelper.

It's good wiki, but i would Czech Wiki :-). I can be admin (can be TommPa, Sim, Nemo, VS too). In game Czech manual isn't :-(

I guess I should post a small notice here.... Since I feel much more at home at the German wiki (where I usually add pages in Swedish, mostly translations from German), this is where I prefer to work. In response to yet another query/help request on how signals work in Simutrans, I sent the person in question to the German wiki to read up on signals there and when it turned out he had problems understanding the page, I took it upon myself to translate it into English. I suppose this translation should really be at the enwiki, but it is just so much simpler to handle multi-language wiki pages at the tikiwiki that I felt my time was better spent there. However, if someone should wish to move this page to the enwiki, I do not mind that my work is transferred there - note however that most images come from the German original. The page may be found at: http://simutrans-germany.com/wiki/wiki/tiki-index.php?page=en_RailwaySignals

In general the admin should be some reliable person known to the community, preferrably a Devotee. So does anyonye of the Devotees want to participate?
