I seriously need some help.

Im flooding with passengers. One of my stops have 2209 passengers, with room for 32... I have many stops with several 100 pepole waiting and i have no idea how to solve it. I try to put in more busses, but that does not help. And even the stops are full with pepole sometimes the busses does not make profit.

Any ideas?

Hum, if its too messy, why not start a new game?
You could grow your network more slowly so you can have time to adapt to the demande.
Also using railroad could help since they can move more people with less number of vehicle faster in great
distance.

If you want to stick to the old game, you need to analise the flow of passengers.
This is all what I can say for now. Keep on trying.

Ok, i think i will stick to this game. Anyone know a way to stop regular cars to use certan roads? I have problems in some areas with cars blocking roads for trucks...

Hello knoen

I too had many passengers in some stations. I think around 4000 was as high as I went (Ragoland Challenge back in June).  Clearing them was a gradual affair of laying on more trains and trams.

Would you mind showing us your save game please?  The save will be in a simutrans folder in 'my documents' and it can be uploaded easily here : http://files.simutrans-germany.com/  And once you have a link could you put it here: http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?board=59.0 as a new thread.  We could have a close look and make suggestions.

Thank you
Regards
Sev.

Use extension buildings to increase the capacity of your stops. That will reduce the amount of people waiting on stops.

Knoen,

welcome to the forums! You could always try Simutrans-Experimental (link in signature), which contains a number of mechanisms to prevent the issue that you describe, in a realistic way (for example, passengers give up waiting and go away if they are waiting for too long).
Download Simutrans-Extended.

Want to help with development? See here for things to do for coding, and here for information on how to make graphics/objects.

If your cities are overcrowded : use suspended monorail, use underground, use tram.
Underground train could be enough to reduce waiting passengers over the time.

But you have to see what line is overcrowded.

How long is your route?

Simutrans transports passenger with shortest distances first. Very often with long routes, the buses fill up in the first stop then drop everyone off at the second stop and empty for the rest of the journey.
