Mine is just a funny lol cat with a curious helmet I found somewhere years ago. I've been using it for quite long time as my common avatar, but now I've found this one which is more related with transports and simutrans:
http://icanhascheezburger.com/2007/01/12/monorail-cat-2/
This is really cute!

About mine :
Once we had a security goverman. ( Old goverment. ) And he came to visit the army. he took the googles and he did "like" he is looking... But it was close.
Since than all arabs are laughing on him and we call him " the man with the googles" .

@wipi i've seen the original figurine in kyoto and was very fond of her beauty.

calling her fat is quite rude!

Calling her a fat lady is no insult at all, on the contrary, it was a honorary title!
And this is the complete picture of her:

ah then we're talking about another figurine. Do you know where she, the original, is exhibited?

Guess ;D

I'll tell you that it isn't because I am especially a BM fan (I like his music, but no more than that, I'm more a rude boy in the 2Tone sense than in the original sense), and I don't have dreads.

Maybe Moshe Ben - Ari ?

Or someone else who got mad in India?
( Just for the protocol : He is making me scared and I don't like his music... )

After a few experiments, I think I want to settle with the "house tree" that I made some time ago. I made it for pak96.comic, and it is supposed to be the home of the artist colony "freehand". It combines the idea of nature, art, and freedom, even the will to defy gravity by living on the end of the branches. Also it is a settlement - while a tree just by itself can be the symbol of stability through long times, this is in addition also a settlement - the artists want to stay.

i was looking through cc images that could be suitable for an sdog (with a lowercase 's', often mistyped here). the nickname is taken from this record: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veterans_of_Disorder

the image had to be small, funny and re-recognizable

I am with you sdog! My nickname, meaning 'small o' should also not be capitalised, as that would be contraproductive.

My avatar is 'le chat' from the Belgian comedian Philippe Geluck. This cat made me love the French language and its abilities to express completely different ideas with words that sound completely alike.

My avatar is me on Simpsons. I made it on Simspons movie site.

That's nice about my nickname, there's no rule. You type as you want... lowercase, uppercase, capitalized, and can even be without the underline. It doesn't care, and the way you say also don't have rules. You say as you want, it can be:
A N _ D Z
An _ dz
An dz
A n d z
Andz
And you can say in any language, it can be as portuguese words, english, spanish, don't care.

But what does it stand for, if I may ask?

Fabio is my name, I spelled it lowercase here in a snobbish fashion, to make it more interesting, buy you can spell it either way.

lowercase are not that important to me, i perfer them though. I like the combination of the s and d both at x height with the ascender pointing out. but it mostly comes from my real first name, which i do not like very much capitalised, it looks to bold, boisterous. You will understand me immediately when i tell you it's a G (followed by an e). even with good kerning a G stands out very much in most font families. Perhaps it only is inconspicious in those with a massive x-height. Being followed by an e makes things more difficult, thus i prefer greatly to write ge... instead of Ge...

Nickname you can see: it's just my name and surname.
Nickname to login: ST43-241. ST43 is our national operator's PKP name for romanian locos Faur LDE2100 and Electroputere 060Da. It means "diesel locomotive for goods trains, with electric drive, with possibility to control second loco". 241 is individual number. ST43-241 was my favourite ST43 loco until some "expert" destroyed its motor...
Avatar shows vehicles I made for Simutrans.

I'm trying a new avvy. Mine came from Simon's Cat, since I'm a cat person.

It is quite simple :
My avatar is a self portrait drawing with Inkscape.
My nickname mEGa includes my initials written in capital letters for Eric Gindre.

My current one is a mix between SNCF's logo (SNCF is the major - near the only one - train company in France) and "SNFOS", the "fake company" uniting french addon makers :)
