How do I connect the underground station to ground level, sorry for all the questions but as a newbie to this fantastic game I find myself totally addicted and really need to improve my passenger service with a good underground service. Many thanks in advance !

By making a tunnel. Keep Ctrl pressed while you are doing that, otherwise a very long tunnel might be build automatically.

if you build overground stations directly above the underground station, then they will be connected automatically.
