no rivers

Using the latest pak128 (and same problem with the one before) I can't have rivers. However it works well whith an other pak.

Rivers acn be made during the map.
After the map is ready you can make a Kanal. ( Ship's menu. )
It costs 10,000 Per squere.

I know that ... but I'd like the game to generate rivers by creating the map.

When creating the map you can choose how may rivers to create and their lenght. ( On the climate set menu. )

There are no rivers with :
rivers nbr : 16
min lenght : 16
max lenght : 256

I assume the the needed pak files are in the right folder?

There also need to be some lines in the config.tab

they look like this:

Make sure your config-file in ".../pak128/config" has these lines.

there's no "config.tab" nor in this folder neither in paks which rivers work in. The pak128 folder I have is EXACTLY the one downloaded on nightlies page.

it should be in a subfolder "config" in the pak 128 folder. If its not there simutrans either uses the config in simutrans/config (outside the pak folder) or the one that is stored in "...users/ducuments and settings/simutrans..." that place wher you have "my images" "my documents" and so on (depends on your operating sys) .

Maybe the nightlies come without config, I don't know, then you can to copy it from some other pakset, one that has working rivers.

I have a pak128\config folder but I haven't a config.tab file.

"simuconf.tab" is the correct name of the file. Sorry i named it wrong myself up there.

I can attach the one i qouted above, it's from pak96comic, but if the pakfile names of the rivers are the same it should work.

Just copy it into ...pak128/config

I'm a morron, I just remembered that I use an ancient simuconf.tab with some modifications  
I'm going to replace it by that newer one
