Any method changing the climate at the started game

I hate by desert climate in my save currently playing, any method change the climate instead of starting a new game? thanks!

To answer your question: Not really, no.

In theory you could do it, as it is probably stored in one place in the savegame file. It would take you some serious hacking to accomplish it. You might try to save the game as an xml file and then try to understand it. I don't know if the seasons setting can be easily found then.

So in short, starting a new save game might take less time. Or get used to the desert climate...

Climate is a dialogue tool. You can add it to your simuconf.tab to change settings of a running game.

DirtyDirk is right; you need to edit menuconf.tab. The tool in questions is the dialog_tool[26], but further instructions depend on the pak set used.

Nice! I think it should be standard in MapEditor submenu

It won't work as expected until next season change or saving. So I kept it off the editing tools. Setting dialoge would be even worse. Like a blowtorch I would suggest to kept them to poeple knowing what they do.
