Extensions' binding to kind of transport

Hi,
I began creation of quite large extension building for railways - exactly, building for end-stations - it means stations where trains can only end its ?journey.

I would like to know behaviour of extensions where kind of transport is not set. When railways are set, then building is rotated to platforms - even if maglev is set. When it is tied to airport, then it is rotated to loading stage. But to what is rotated building when no kind of transport is set?

Shouldn't there always be a set kind of transport? An extension building cannot be built on its own in Simutrans, you always need an existing platform/stop/loading area.

I know - because I have already done one such building. See topic 4 rotations railway station extension. But that one is tied to railways. So if it built by railway (or maglev) platforms, then it is rotated to those platforms, not to (for example) bus stop.

I ask, when kind of transport is not set in dat file (I am sorry that I did not write this in the first post), to what station is extension rotated.
