How do I get passengers to my airports?

Hi,
I am reasonably new to Simutrans and i have just made two airports and was wondering how to get people to fly with me.
Also, how do I get my bus stops to work?

What do you mean with "get bus stops to work"? Put the stops on the road, make a bus line that uses them, build a depot and assign at least one bus to the line.
If the airport isn't close to the town, use a bus or train route to "feed" it (remember that you need to build the bus stop or train station adjoining to the airport, otherwise it won't work as a node and passengers won't transfer).

If it's a single line you won't have a lot of riders (since passengers in Suimutrans are generated with a destination in mind and will use your company only if your lines reach that destination), but as your network grows, more destinations will be covered and more passengers will ride your vehicles. That's why usually it's better to start a map with some freight line, and then add a passenger network as you have enough money to expand it quickly.
