curretn margin is a different number compared to what is shown in statistics?!?

Maybe a clash monthly versus yearly. But which is preferred?

I use almost only annual financial statistics.

The last monthly current margin is especially helpful in the first few months of starting the (human's) company.  I normally have to use the immediate preceding month's margin, as that the current month's increases to its final monthly value.
