I'd call it Coal Trains.
It's from pak.german real game with one addon (SzW series by paco_m)

Title: Colorful oil
Description: Long crude oil convoi starting its long way to the far east refinery, which feeds a couple of gas stations.

Pak used: OpenPak128 + own colorful tankers set.
Real game: I would say it's from a real game, but I can't promise. I'm pretty sure the railway head to the east to a refinery placed about 100 or 150 tiles away (I remember was really far). On its return way it also carried gas to feed a couple of gas stations that were by the half of its way back.
The picture is old and was rescued from my HD (although I remember the scenario, don't ask me why :P), but I use to play with trains of this size for coal and oil (6 tiles long is rather usual, 8 few times, 10 rare). This one was 8 tiles long.

Train-catcher

A freight 14-tile train passing a suburban platform.

Unfortunately, 2 cars out of bounds because of 800*600 image size requirements.
This is a real game screenshot, which demonstrates not only a long train but a piece of map, which shows other long trains on line. This line connects two capitals. And such long trains carry goods from one city to another.
This real game (1024*1024 map) have been developed since 1930 and before 2017. It contains many kilometers of railways, constructed for serving a long-train traffic.
Based on Pak128.

Train-catcher, imho would be better if you take the screenshot without the minimap, it's much more artistic

It was an signal problem, and nearly arround 40 trains have been delayed on the line, jeje.
Also i not mention to stranded passengers on the stations.  :o

The 8 cars EMU are from subway trought service
And the longer 12 cars EMU are from long distance service
