Hi!

I have the problem that simutrans-exp 9.8 crashes when I try to delete a railway crossing of 4 tiles wide. Note that this also happens with bigger crossings and perhaps also smaller crossings (size > 1). Sim-exp also crashes when trying to delete the crossing tiles one by one (though not on the 1st tile, but on the 2nd), so that is not an option. Also, it does not matter whether the road-removing tool is used or the normal remove tool. Even the railway removing tool has this problem.

I use pak128.Britain-exp 0.8. Could you try to reproduce this? This is very annoying, I will never get rid of this crossing :(

EDIT: found one workaround: delete one segment of the crossing, then save, restart sim-exp (sim-exp will crash if you skip this) and reload. Then another segment can be deleted.

Regards,

Bram

PS: thanks for 9.8! I thought I'd never get my old 9.5 savegame back due to the negative revenue bug in 9.6 :) Sim-exp is really getting awesome!

Brambo,

thank you very much for your report. I strongly suspect that this relates to a bug from Standard that has already been fixed there. Because of major changes to the way in which industries work in Standard, I have delayed merging in more recent changes until I could be sure of the multiplayer working correctly. Merging all the latest changes from Standard is the next task, on which I have already begun. Hopefully, this bug will be fixed in the next release, therefore. Sorry that you are having trouble, but glad that you are enjoying all the same.

Thanks, I was suspecting such already a bit. Hope you can merge the standard code back soon and release 9.9 :)

I think that this is probably fixed in 9.9 - can somebody re-test?
