I have following idea: use one-way signals for choosing of platform in station.

L----<S--====--<S----R
   \->S--====-->S-/

<S and >S are signals
-, / and \ are rails
= are platforms

Train will go such station twice - at first it will approach from the left and then from the right.

Currently when backward route button is used, automatically the same point in station (the same platform) is chosen - and so when there are built one-way signals (of any type), train goes through station and turns to go to chosen platform - and it cause chaos.

So it is needed to manually change order in critical stations to trains could not do what is descripted above.

So I suggest change backward route planning in sense of what is written above. And also it would be good if train keep signals instead order - so if platform in counter-direction will be chosen, train will stop in platform in direction of movement/direction set by one-way signals (of any type). I think this is possible - or am I wrong?
