[bug] SE crashes when followed vehicle uses a choose signal

I have a problem with an old savegame and the newer versions of SE. Version 9.5 was the last working. 9.6 and 9.8 crashed when a followed vehicle used a choose signal. These crashes appeared not with every choose signal...

I am having trouble reproducing this one - can you upload a saved game and indicate where in it you can reproduce the problem reliably?

I couldn't find a signal where I could reproduce the problem. It just happened so often, that I stopped using the current builds for testing. The only hint I have is that the train is followed when it happened. In 9.5 this crash did not occur.

I can't fix the problem unless I can reproduce it - I found a saved game that I knew had choose signals and followed trains pass them a good number of times, and it didn't crash once. Can you upload a saved game in which you know that the problem has occurred several times?

Couldn't observe the issue. I'll keep you posted. I'm testing 9.10 right now :-D.
