Limit autosaves

There's any way to limit the number of autosaves?

I like the autosave function, but it creates too much files. It makes the save/load dialog too confuse to search my saves.
There's no way to limit this? Like a line on simuconf.tab.
I wanted just 5 autosaves. Or add a separator on load/save dialog for autosaves.

That's strange... I only get one autosave file for all my games... they just overwrite each other's autosave.

maybe it would be easier to sort through if the autosave was stamped with map #/name and game year and month?

If I am not wrong, max. number of autosave files is twelve - one for each month. But it is useless number of autosaves. The best number of autosaves is 1 or 2 - it means one per year or one per six months.
