the Title is missing

-> thereby also missing <a id="tiki_top"></a> for page top link

result: top links on pages not worked

I do not understand why you have to constantly modify functioning just so it looks different.

An_dz

I just want the wiki to look friendlier and easier to read.

No functions are missing or changed, maybe moved someplace else. Ex.: Bookmarks are now inside a dropdown when you hover Bookmarks text.

I can't find any use of the <a id="tiki_top"/> it's always missing.
Edit: OK, understood now.

...

What is very subjective.

The most ideal is, if there is little change over time.

I assume that was the Japanese Pukiwiki also since it online is not transformed.

The previous theme was now for almost 2 years online. And so it was decided here.
And the statistics show that it is also used.

In addition, each theme has its own peculiarities which must be taken into account when designing content.
Who wants now and so continue to explore all 1153 existing pages and articles on the formatting.

Sometimes big changes are needed, the Fivealive theme was too cluttered and bright. The new one follows some Wikipedia style and people won't get much confused. Maybe those that were used with the old style, but new ones will probably prefer now.

The Japanese Pukiwiki has a good style, it's very intuitive, even don't knowing Japanese you can navigate.

Done, found out how to apply a custom CSS only to Skeleton. All other themes will work now.

ALso, who is responisble form the wiki DNS. wiki.simutrans.com goes nowhere, and on www.simutrans.com there is under help no link to the wiki. Maybe those can be fixed/added as well?

On the wiki theme itself: Is is just me or got the size of the font much smaller (about 10 or less on my screen). I can hardly read it.

looks good.
Better, cleaner, focused. I'm for the idea that what is not of normal user's business it should be hidden so only those who will edit can see it.

I left the sizes unchanged, maybe it's the theme itself that has smaller fonts, I'll take a look.
[edit]Same size, try login in and change the theme to Fivealive. If you see any differences send a picture to me.

Ticket 101 opened to redirect wiki.simutrans.com to http://simutrans-germany.com/wiki/wiki/

___________________________________

Completed, with following note:

wiki.simutrans.com/* and www.wiki.simutrans.com/* redirect to simutrans-germany.com/wiki/wiki. Which means it'll get people to the right place. Although, weirdly, it means removing the /wiki/wiki from the path if you want to give a wiki.s.c address, for example home page of english wiki is both of these:

http://simutrans-germany.com/wiki/wiki/tiki-index.php?page=en_Index

http://wiki.simutrans.com/tiki-index.php?page=en_Index

since wiki.s.c redirect includes the /wiki/wiki...

An_dz

I think it's better, gets a smaller address, and the wiki is already in the address.

An_dz

I have created a survey asking about the new theme. It would be nice if you could voice an opinion:

What is more readable for you?

On a bright monitor I see in Skeleton almost no difference in color of the table rows.
And these tables are used during the whole reference Dat.

Skeleton

Fivealive

We can always fix stuff. The whole is more than the sum of its parts.

Is it good now?

Yes it does prissi, it's in the first question, unless you're talking about a new drop-down menu item to it.

I don't know it should write here, Excuse me, but I'd like to request to introduce Easy Timeline on Wiki, because, Almost objects in simutrans are managed by timeline .

If we take into it, we can easy to check all add-on on timeline .

For example, this is Fiat car timeline.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Fiat_Automobiles_timeline_(Europe)_1960-1989
You can look over so many car produced by Fiat  and I like this layout.

Do you think about it?

Code program is here.
http://m.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:EasyTimeline
Sorry, I don't know about the code in detail.(^^;;
