What influences the length of day/night cycles in Simutrans?  Experimental 10.0 paired with pak128.Britain ver. 110.6  is producing very short day/night cycles.  At 18 bits per month, the difference is only a few seconds.  At 19 bits per month, the difference is around a minute or so.

When playing a Simutrans Standard installation with pak128 , the length of a day/night cycle is much more 'normal'...

Are you using the Standard version of Pak128.Britain with the Experimental executable? If so, that might cause problems. As to the day/night cycle, though, Pak128.Britain has not been designed to accommodate day/night changes: you will notice that the nights are completely black for the most part. I tend to disable this feature, and it is disabled by default in Simutrans-Experimental Complete.
