Hi,
I just compiled 3857851e on Linux-64 and when I load my savegame (pak-britain with a couple of changes) the revenue changes drastically. The behaviour is reproducable with a  savegame and shows up pretty much immediately. There was ~10k stored up passengers/mail at Manchester central but that was recent and after a couple of months of play the monthly profit is more than the yearly profit with a02241a5. Happy to bisect if you wish.

I've attached the one non-standard object I use (it's from openpak). Beyond this I only changed the 60s or 70s bus stop for 64 people to be people&mail; and two of the highest level train stations to be 128 passengers instead of the 60 or whatever it was.

Steffen,

thank you for the report, and apologies for not having replied earlier: I have been exceptionally busy these last few weeks. I confirm that I can reproduce excessive revenues on long passenger rail lines compared with earlier saves, but that other transport seems unaffected. I shall look into this and try to fix it. Thank you very much indeed for testing the new version.

I have now found and fixed the problem - the fix is on the "running powers" branch. Could you re-test?

Edit: I have now merged the running powers branch into the 10.x branch in preparation for release.
