Post by: sojo on March 09, 2009, 07:23:55 PM
I have made a short test with a line-art from pak96.comic. What du you think about it?

If you want, I can make some pictures from other paksets.

I have a german side with some line-arts for kids. I can there pubilsh some pictures with a copyright from the simutrans team and with a link to www.simutrans.com.

I disagree with this "kid" concept.
We are speaking about kids and not babys, a kid who is enough mature to understand the world of Simutrans doesn't need this kind of graphics.
pak96c has enough simple graphics to be adapted to kids.

plus : you know that all kids want to grow and look like adults so he will prefer adult graphics ;)

but if the target are babies, they can colour it and maybe their parents can discover simutrans world through them and become players ;)

gauthier, this is not for computer, but for printing pictures on paper...

I am not sure if it is the right kind of graphic. It has lots of texture. When I think of these, deep in my mind it says "vector". But technically there is no reason why this should not work, either.

Sometimes. Especially when Vilvoh is a father of a virtual one... ::)

Just for sake of *more* fun:

It's not my baby but he was the most famous baby on the internet, long time ago. It's famous meme.

Back to the topic, perhaps sojo might do a Simutrans paint-and-color book for babies with that kind of images.
