Barges gradually appear in the shipyard dock with every new version so I checked options of using water but never could I introduce any profitable connection except for passangers and mail. Whatever towboat I choose it always costs additional 9¢, and can tow one barge of 10-25t capacity. That's many times more expensive than any rail locomotive that can pull more than one car of much heavier load each.
Is it purposefully so unprofitable to represent an expensive link in delivery chain?
I´ve just looked in the calculation: Seems not exist a calculation for the runningcost of the ships at the moment.
