This should be fixed in the nightlies.
I've just had the same error but with "11 not in 0..10" at the end of the error message.
r8077 while playing pak128.Britain.
The whole thing locked up, no saving, no screen shots, nothing possible to give to you to help debug! Sorry.

I think its great that this bug is fixed but its a killer for my server as it runs the stable version (that is not stable atm). I try to host my server in stable so that its easily accessabel and i don't need to patch it every week (yes i'm lazy)
I donno if the problem will go away if i only upgrade the server of if people can then still connect. But i'm interested in a solution to keep my server up and running for the community.
You can try to apply the patches manually and locally at your server. Then only the connected clients will suffer from crashes.
