Problem with downloading attachments

I seem to be unable to download the patch from this topic:

Firefox wants to save the index.php file Any hints to circumvent that?

There's a longer discussion somewhere in the private boards. Essentially Firefox 8 doesn't like what SMF gives. You can upgrade to 9 beta and it will work again. Alternatively, right click and save as. The only broken thing (unrecognized) is file name, so the origin (index.php) is used. Data are correct.

edit: Only admins could see the old discussion... I guess that's why nobody knew
