Title: About Vehicle Costs(per a day)
Post by: langen on July 27, 2009, 01:23:43 PM
If you use a BUS(MAXspeed 130km/h) on dirt road(MAX30km/h), passengers have to pay 130km/h speedbonus.
If you use a BUS(MAXspeed 130km/h) on Autobahn(MAX200km/h), passengers have to pay 130km/h speedbonus.

:o It is very very unfair to passengers and company.

:police: So I suggest a new vehicle cost.
This is running cost every other day in each vehicle and you shouldn't use a fast vehicle on a low way.

For example,,
Shinkansen type0(MAX210km/h) pays 100.00C/day
JNR C11(MAX75km/h) pays 15.00C/day
⇒This makes Shinkansen type0 users run it high quarity way.

:'( I can't use English well, sorry.

The speed bonus is rather a confort rating. In USA you have often luxurious trains for instance that run at snail speed on some parts. Fees are usually not affected by this.

In Simutrans-Experimental, there is: (1) a monthly vehicle maintenance cost; and (2) a speed bonus dependant on the average, not actual speed of vehicles. Is this what you had in mind?

;D THANKS! Speedbonus is depending on average speed!! This is fair to play.
