Title: British Citycars
Post by: The Hood on September 13, 2009, 05:19:29 PM
I've started work on citycars as well as the lorries now, so here are the first to be drawn
- Austin Metro (model by Kieron, so hope he doesn't mind me producing the pngs from it!)
- Ford Cortina (also by Kieron)
- Austin Seven (converted from my truck)
- Morris Eight (ditto)

Any comments / suggestions for other citycars to be included?

Ah, those are nice. This pak is just so awesome. :D

I don't know how they work - if you can control the chances, I think a Peel P50 would be awesome- in very very limited numbers XD

Beyond that, I'm not too up on British cars... I'm learning a la Top Gear, but... ;-)

Thanks for the suggestions - Isaac I can't believe that ever existed but it's on wikipedia so it must be true  ;)

Here's a couple more (not off the suggestions):
- Ford Model T (available in any colour as long as it's black...)
- Horse & Cart

Don't forget to do some motorbikes too ;)

Looking very good though, pakBritain is already one of the best looking and most coherant paksets IMO, and it's only getting better :)

This pakset looks very british.  ;)

Thanks for the feedback!  Sojo, I assume that is a compliment (and for what it's worth, pak96.comic looks very Germanic!).  Timothy, I guess there are some advantages to having a pak drawn by only 2 people then...

Anyway, here's some more:
- Horse-drawn carriages
- Mini
- Peel P50 (just for Isaac!)

Great looking stuff!

And the Peel P50 endears it to me even more... XD

I don't want to get offtopic, but I do think it's great that there's one in Simutrans to match the one in Rigs of Rods. hehehhe. I'm gonna find the old Peel P50 topic over there and point `em to this thread to see it over here. hehehe

The Hood of course, this was a compliment. But pak96.comic have a lot of climates too. I hope climate desert looks not very "germanic". ;)

Nice cars!!!

Can you paint/render Mr. Bean with his Mini? You should paint the driver (Mr. Bean) at the backseat. Do you know what I mean? All I'm saying is dentist. ( See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFYoms6uf3M )

Yes I do know what you mean, but given the mini is, well, mini, I don't think Mr Bean would show up well  ;D

Anyway, here are the latest additions:
-Land Rover (1948-1985)
-Range Rover (1970-)
-Ford Ka (1996-)

Very lovely, as always! Another suggestion: the new Mini would be good for the modern era, and perhaps also some 1980s/1990s medium sized cars, the Ford Sierra, say, or Vauxhall Cavalier.
