What effect has electricity_amount in JIT2?
How this command affects production when each unit of production has fixed cost of electricity?
Is that fixed cost of electricity affected by electricity_amount?

In the case of power plants electricity amount is multiplied by the work done over the default work done. This means that bonuses to production will increase output power by the bonus amount. In the case of power plants with multiple inputs (never seen one!?) each input is an equal weighted fraction (1/input number) of that power production amount.

In the case of producers, factories and consumers the amount of power used is based on electricity_amount scaled by work done over default production rate (Productivity). This means that you can use it to set the per unit work electricity cost. It should be noted that factories that gain power boosts will generally consume more power than electricity_amount defines when operating fully due to the power boost raising their productivity above the default rate.

It does not alter the work done by a factory at all. It purely means that the power consumed is based on the work done rather than a constant amount. This stops the problem where by passenger and mail boosts increased energy efficiency and full outputs decreased energy efficiency.

No it does not alter the income you get per kilowatt sold. I am considering revising power networks one day so that they are more profitable (break even?).
