I've finished the Landing Zone taxiways, 3 options: Grass, Dirt, Dirt with fence
Also an update on Dirt Runway, there was some white pixels on T crossings.

Without fences is LZDirtTaxiway2.

I've updated my Int. Air. Runway, now with side white lines, I think it looks better. Of course, sources available.

New version of Reytm2's Control Tower, I created 2 more views for it and also added winter view. The Firetruck is now the same that appears driving in the city. The building also matches the 96comic style guide.

New stop: Boxes on the ground.
Just that, some boxes on the ground, for small airports (Landing zones).
Thanks for Bergente to make those images available on the German Forum.

reytm2

Perfect ... I think we should create a couple of small aircraft to make use of these LZones ....

very good work in control towers. An_dz.

The output of you guys is amazing. Also, the quality of your work is very good.

@ An_dz: You're welcome! Feel free to make use of all those props that can be found in the german forum.

Wow, the airbus looks great now. Colors are lighter.

The terminal looks great. But modernism is not my style.

I didn't like the MRTT on the oil plane. In truth I first thought it was MATT.

For now I'll try to create 3 more stops.

Bergente

Probably you guys are already planning to draw one but I would love to see a big terminal building that covers more than one tile.
btw, at the first glance I also thougt that the writing on the plane says "MATT"...

Great stuff, it's nice to see hte pakset getting some love :)

I just saw your work for airports and planes in p96c - that's awesome  :o This is a really huge step forward for this pak. I wish I could contribute some planes, too, but I don't have any time  :-[
Well, as long as there's an official release with this stuff in it - everything is fine :P

@An_dz
The international Runway have a problem. The numbers are wrong. In the South must be 18, in North 36, in West 27 and in East 09. At the moment we have in South 36, in North 18, in West 09 and in East 27.

@reytm2
Have you painted this airportstop? I don't get it.

Are you sure sojo? All other paksets use this order.

Edit:
I went to wikipedia to check and the numbers are right.

I am a little confused by reading of that numbering system - because it is the first when I read that there is some (international, official) system in it. I have thought before this while that those numbers are tied to each airport and number of its runways.

I would like to know more about it - Would you write exact link to pages where it is described?

-->
I found on Wikipedia (like you) probably similar text that is in my language - but I would like to be sure ...

Here are the wikipedia articles I've read:
Portuguese Wikipedia Under Nomenclatura
English Wikipedia Under Orientation and dimension

A quotation from the important part:
Quote from: wikipedia
Runways are named by a number between 01 and 36, which is generally one tenth of the magnetic azimuth of the runway's heading: a runway numbered 09 points east (90°), runway 18 is south (180°), runway 27 points west (270°) and runway 36 points to the north (360° rather than 0°).[1] When taking off from or landing on runway 09, a plane would be heading 90° (east).

If there is more than one runway pointing in the same direction (parallel runways), each runway is identified by appending Left (L), Center (C) and Right (R) to the number — for example, Runways One Five Left (15L), One Five Center (15C), and One Five Right (15R). Runway Zero Three Left (03L) becomes Runway Two One Right (21R) when used in the opposite direction (derived from adding 18 to the original number for the 180 degrees when approaching from the opposite direction).

At large airports with more than three parallel runways (...) some runway identifiers are shifted by 10 degrees to avoid the ambiguity that would result with more than three parallel runways. For example, (...) At Dallas-Fort Worth, there are five parallel runways, named 17L, 17C, 17R, 18L, and 18R, all oriented at a heading of 175.4 degrees.

sojo

I'm not sure. Prissi write in the german forum: "Why in pak96.comic the sun shine from the north."

So I thought he means the numbers on runways. But I check this at frankfurt airport with google maps. And you can see 18 is in the north (direction south): http://g.co/maps/vfp38

Runway 36 means you are heading north, so your compass lines up at 360.
Runway 18 means you are heading south, so your compass lines up to 180.

Questions by which terminal?

1. this

2. this

3. or this

reytm2

On the runway markings ...

The number of head of runway. marks the radio to follow to get to it.

therefore a track that has 18 and 36 radial

The head 18 is in the north.
and 36 in the south.

This photo is an example of runways 17 - 35, is the airport in my city.

Following this theory, I think the runways are well marked.

PS: I am fond of aviation ...

Mi blog, reytm2.blogspot.es - others, sms a cuba

The runways should be good. :)

I mean the white square. That is on all pictures. ;)

do not worry about the terminal ...
I'm working on a larger air terminal ...

this terminal that is not my best work ...

Mi blog, reytm2.blogspot.es - others, sms a cuba

reytm2

this is the first view of the new air terminal ... is 3 x 1, I'm not sure if it's the right size for an extension.

I welcome your opinions.

Mi blog, reytm2.blogspot.es - others, sms a cuba

Václav

3*1 as size of extension? I don't see any problem with it. I can imagine extension that would be much greater - but there may be very hard to make directions right.

I only don't understand that staircase - if it should be for people to they could watch airplanes (as it is on some airports), then it should be from that other side.

Also there are missing some doors to people could go into building.

And firefighters' car should go directly on taxiways and runways - so if that staircase is as it is, firefighters' car should not be visible because it will be on that other side.

Chybami se člověk učí - ale někteří lidé jsou nepoučitelní

sojo

Extensions with 3x2 or 3x4 or 3x1, ... must have a second rotation.

And I think the car is to big for the building.

@VaclavMacurek
The staircase is in the right place ... the view is oriented towards the taxiway. take the idea from a real airport.

I have another view created for part of the building overlooking the streets.

@Sojo
The truck is the same used in other air terminal ...you think that is big in height, depth, or in general?

Mi blog, reytm2.blogspot.es - others, sms a cuba

sojo

I think the truck is to high for the building. Looks like the ceiling press on the car.

reytm2

Increase the height of the door of the fire station.

I hope this does not see the truck crushed.

Mi blog, reytm2.blogspot.es - others, sms a cuba

VS

I think the truck needs door with 150% height of one floor to look good...
