Hey y'all, RailLord here. Figured it's about time I popped back up. Anyways, after leaving it alone for a while, I tried installing Experimental 11.35 on a clean install of Windows 10. And that's when I got a message saying a file is missing: MSVCR110.dll. Is there a way to fix this? Where do I download it? Also, are there any other files that I need to download to get the 64-bit version working?

Download Simutrans-Extended.

If you google that error it explains clearly what it is. You are missing the MSVC Runtime libraries. Most commercial products, such as games brought over steam, will download and install this automatically for you. Simutrans may require that you manually install them if they are not already installed. I believe you need the 2012 MSVC Runtime libraries. Installing 2015 or newer libraries will not help as each is standalone.

From Microsoft.

Use the 64 bit version at your own peril. Simutrans is designed around the 32 bit build and as such 64 bit builds generally perform worse and are prone to crashes once passing 4 GB memory allocation. You should be able to run the 32bit version on Windows 10 64bit perfectly.

Thanks guys for the quick response. Now, Simutrans Exp 64-bit is working just fine on the computer. Hats off to y'all and happy new year!

The latest update to Windows 10 seems to mess up the MSVCR a bit since it happened to me too.
