Crash opening any Depot with 112.3, pak128, on Ubuntu 12.04

I got a new PC, running on Ubuntu 12.04, and other than on previous Ubuntu Versions, Simutrans 112.3 doesn't work correcty anymore. At first, I got troubles to start the game ("Simutrans" executable file didnt react) - the problem was seemingly wrong connections between ubuntu libraries (or something like that, im not an expert) - the troubles were solved when I downloaded & installed Simutrans 112.3 for Ubuntu 12.04 from here: https://launchpad.net/~saiarcot895/+archive/ubuntu/myppa (--> 112.3-0ubuntu1~ppa4~trusty1 for Ubuntu 12.04)

so now I can start the game - and it runs with my old savegame data!

BUT: new troubles are coming up - I can't open ANY depot without crashing! when I try to open the depot (of the player it belongs to) it immediately crashes. this happens also when I start a new game with just the original pak files (no mashup) - even here, the first depot i build & try to open makes the game crash.

the only information that logging gives me (after loading the savegame) is: (last 2 lines - nothing relevant before)

Speicherzugriffsfehler (Speicherabzug geschrieben)

(storage access failure)

what can I do? or: what seems to be the cause?
