For Mozilla Firefox usersIf you have Mozilla Firefox, you can download and install the ChatZilla (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/16). Once installed, copy and paste the address in address bar of your browser, and Simutrans Chat Room will open.
For mIRC and other IRC programs usersIf you use mIRC or another IRC program, probably you need these info:

If that doesn't work, this should:

This will work in your browser to make a connection to the Quakenet IRC network using their in-browser script. (it connects to #simutrans, which is the official channel, in case you want to use a third-party program)
Although it may well be slow, we are starting to try and monitor the channel. In fact, as I type this, a new member happened to come into the channel, and *gasp* I'm helping them... :-)
