It works well, but you have to execute it with admin rights from the begining. Wait! There's something wrong. After coping the files it asks "Wie soll Simutrans gestartet werden? " (the message is in Spanish, but I post the german string to make it easy) and waits until you choose one of the option, but the options are not shown.

Quote
1273 archivos copiados
         1 archivos copiados
         1 archivos copiados
         1 archivos copiados

¿Como debería ejecutarse inicialmente Simutrans?

[1,2,3,4]?

Furthermore when I choose an option and push the key, the system bell ring like trying to say "wroong!!!". I guess you missed some string.

P.S: at this moment I can't attach a screenshot so I've added a quote... :(

It's very strange. I've reinstalled all again and this time the installer has shown the options, but when I've chosen the first one (run simutrans without options -- normal) It has removed all files and has closed the DOS prompt..

Third attempt: one more time, It doesn't show the options...Perhaps it's Vista fault.... ???

Where are you going to put it? will it be part of the Simutrans official windows release? Will it be at sourceforge? If so, you should change the self-extractor zip default language, as it's in german (It doesn't matter to most of us, but It could seems strange for a new user without experience)

self-extractor is auto unzip to %temp%-folder

next version is in english
