CA-01 collab game played by mail, how it goes?

Could any of the members (topchrisher, LondonBVE, Rohal, AP,Stubbsy, etc..) that take part in the collaborative game CA-01 tell us how it goes? I've heard you're using a gmail account for the management, is it easier to manage? I guess you use the "conversation" feature to simulate the forum topics and threads needed for a game of this kind, don't you? What about the negotiations?

IBasically we send an e-mail to the account saying Checking In Out CA_01_100 say, and then our name. Once we've finished we send another e-mail with what we've done, the game time, and the save game. For any requests we jus send a new e-mail with a suject of Request: Rohal, Oil Or something like that.
It was much easier to do so on the forum, as you can see all the posts etc much easier. If we can get Isaac to allow it we would like to have a sub-forum again, just for posts. As we first started off, we just checked out and in and negotiated on the forum, when file uploads had to stop, so we just saved it on G-Mail by sending an e-mail to our account with the save version.

One should just email the game to all in question (copy all email addresses). Then one would downlaod only latest mail and discard the others and have notification at the same time.

Indeed, you can archive all old mails with savegames attached, in case something goes wrong or you have to check if someone has broken any rule. So that, in the mail account you just have the latest sve.

we just log into an account which Topchrisher made and we send everything to the same account. (basically sending it to yourself really). I've suggested many idea to organise it a bit more, but noone has said anything about doing it. We have all the saves their and any negotiations and talking etc.
