When a vehicle's individual increase_maintenance_after_years is higher than the default setting, maintenance costs start increasing according to default without marking the vehicle obsolete.

Thank you for the report. The obsolescence mechanism is likely to be replaced by a usage/wear based system by the next release, so it may well not be worth fixing this.
