Hello, Lubak91 on the czech forum noticed that the purchase cost of vehicles (as shown in depot) is 8x smaller than what is specified in dat file. Is that intentional? To me it looks as if the purchase cost is scaled by tiles/km value, but it does not make much sense to me

The purchase cost is intentionally scaled by the meters per tile value.

May I ask why? I understand that costs for building ways are scaled, as well all other costs per km. But I don't see the reason for scaling vehicle purchase cost. What about station building costs? Are those scaled too?

They are indeed: all capital costs are scaled. The higher the meters per tile value, the less distance that any given vehicle can travel in any given real life time.
