Title: SketchUp and special colors
Post by: Miziiik on August 28, 2013, 02:43:52 PM
Hello all,

do you have any experiences with special colors in SketchUp?  :)

I used special color on windows of my building but shadows "repainted" it.

I don't want to repaint pixel by pixel  :-[

Any ideas?

you can use shades to recolour the background. http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=5389.0

when using sketchup, it's best to use either green or pink for the background, as it is easier to distinguish compared to simutrans transparent cyan

Background is right, but windows don't light because shadows darkened windows color (special 4D4D4D)  :-[

fabio did a gimp plugin that removes special colors, you can always post-process the image like that.
